Sitting on a pier in Cork waiting for a group of scouts to return from their power boating trip, I of course had my camera in hand and spent my time takin photos of the old wooden pier. This small piece of broken shell was sitting at the base of one of the pillars. The blue hues contrasted beautifully to the pale greys ad greens of the pier wood and I thought it made an interesting and pretty scene to photograph.
I love the beaten up wood’s colours and tones, the seaside feel and the over cast weather’s cast on the scene. One of my favourite places to be, the sea side.
