Over this past week I’ve managed to get seriously sick and end up in hospital and today I’ve escaped (well they discharged me…). It’s a little strange being back in the real world after the busy life of a hospital. It’s so quiet now at home, compared to the chatter of nurses and vital checking machines. I’m enjoying the quiet, but I also miss the hustle and bustle of nurses constantly popping in or the excitement when a guest pops their head round the door.
Since I got home I’ve been reunited with my dog, furrily and enthusiastically. I’ve also been reunited with the weather, which all together reminded me of this photograph I took last year, when I first got my hand son my DSLR. I think it sums up the blustery changing weather and the subtle details of home nicely. It’s also one of my favourite photographs to date!
