Castle Saunderson

Several weeks ago, the Phoenix, the National Campcraft Competition in Scouting Ireland, was held in the grounds of the amazing, Castle Saunderson ruin! Having this beautiful castle as a back drop to the activities over the entire event made it a truely unique setting for the competition. I definately won’t be forgetting this one for a while…

Of course I was at the event, camera in hand, snapping every detail for the goings on! I also snapped the castle (who wouldn’t?) while I was there, it was far to goregous not to! Here’s some the castle orientated images for the event:
