Colour Dash for Irish Cancer Society

The Irish Cancer Society organised a Colour Dash in the Phoenix Park, Dublin City recently. This was a 5km event fund raising for and raising the awareness of cancer, with the various coloured powders representing a type of cancer, and purple representing cancer survivorship.

When I heard the Irish Cancer Society were looking for volunteers to help run the event I volunteering my services as a photographer. It was a brilliant day and thousands of people turned up to the event! Everyone seemed to have an absolute ball which made my job of capturing the emotions and highs of the day all the more fun!
